Carbon steel coils are mainly composed of iron and carbon, with a carbon content between 0.02% and 2.11%. Grades with different carbon content have different hardness and strength. Carbon steel coil has good mechanical properties — high strength, good toughness, easy processing and welding — so it is used in a wide range of fields. Surface quality directly affects the service life of the product: good surface quality improves the appearance and the forming performance of the coil.

hot rolled steel coil  is a carbon structural steel used in the manufacture of welded and bolted metal structures for industrial and civil construction and bridge building.  steel is also used in the manufacture of products and parts for general construction and mechanical engineering purposes.

Product Line

Hot rolled steel coil is produced in four steps: slab reheating, roughing, finishing

rolling and coiling. The continuous cast slab is reheated to about 1100-1250°C in a

reheating furnace, descaled by high-pressure water, then rolled through roughing and

finishing stands above the recrystallization temperature, and finally coiled by the

down coiler. Because rolling is carried out at high temperature, the steel has good

formability and weldability. Coils can be further supplied as pickled and oiled (HRPO),

slit or cut to length according to customer requirements.

Product quality inspection

In order to ensure product quality, we arrange professional personnel to inspect quality,

packaging, weight and mechanical properties against the customer's required specification

before shipment. Mill test certificates (MTC EN 10204 3.1) and third-party inspection

reports (SGS / BV) can be provided on request.
